CanDetect at the 7th CanTest International School for Cancer Detection in Primary Care

Last week I had the privilege of attending the 5-day CanTest International School, hosted by the  Wolfson Institute of Population Health.Based at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, the course brought together delegates from around the world, as well as leading experts in early cancer detection research.

A diverse programme covered topics ranging from quantitative and qualitative research methods, public and patient involvement, career development and the growing role of AI in research. Alongside valuable networking opportunities, we enjoyed punting on the River Cam and got to experience a formal Cambridge dinner. I returned inspired, with new contacts and fresh perspectives, and eager to apply these insights to my own research.
